In the summer of 1964 Martin Luther King placed a phone call to Malcolm X to express his support of Malcolm‘s plans to take the US government to the world court in the United Nations. In 1965 Malcolm X planned to lend his support and aid to the civil rights workers in getting registered to vote. I created this piece to illustrate my interpretation of what a collaboration between Martin and Malcolm would look like. Two seemingly opposing views coming together to overcome the real opposition by any means necessary! In order for us to win, the fight must be ONE!
